Conferences and congresses

The Certosa di Pontignano is an ideal venue in which to host conferences and congresses, with space for 80-90 participants per event in each of the main rooms.

Sala Bracci

The seating in the Sala Bracci is arranged in theatre style. The room has a video projector, computer, audio system with the option of recording, a simultaneous interpretation booth, slide projector and overhead projector, and can be connected with the other two meeting rooms (Palio and Veranda) via a closed circuit videoconference system.
The Sala Bracci can seat approximately 90 people and the chairs are all equipped with folding writing tablets.
This room was used as a refectory by the Certosa's Carthusian monks until 1700 and the walls are decorated with restored frescoes taken from the cell cloister

Sala Veranda

The seating in the Sala Veranda can be arranged in theatre style for approximately 70 people, or in a u-shape, boardroom style or round table for approximately 40 people. The basic equipment includes a computer connected to a video projector, overhead projector, slide projector and flipchart, as well as an amplification and recording system. When necessary it can be connected to the Sala Bracci as a secondary room, via a closed circuit videoconference system.
This room has air conditioning and independent heating, as well as space in which to set up tables, without interfering with any seating arrangements, in an area behind the columns

Sala Palio

The seating in the Sala Palio can be arranged in theatre style for approximately 70 people, or in a u-shape, boardroom style or round table for approximately 40 people.
The basic equipment includes a computer connected to two video projectors that project the same image onto two screens situated in the middle and at the back of the room (so that those not seated at the front can see the top table), an overhead projector, slide projector and flipchart, as well as an amplification and recording system. When necessary it can be connected to the Sala Bracci as a secondary room, via a closed circuit videoconference system.
This room has air conditioning and independent heating.
