common research topic of this section is plant reproductive
biology with special reference to cytological (structure
                          and ultra-structure), biochemical, physiological and
ecological features of pollen grains and seeds. Bio-molecular
approaches to characterization of grape and olive varieties
were recently developed from previous studies on reproductive
biology of these species. More recently, research has
been carried out on pollen hydration status and its eco-physiological
and practical implications. | spazio per foto |
