SECTION OF PLANT BIOLOGY

The common research topic of this section is plant reproductive biology with special reference to cytological (structure and ultra-structure), biochemical, physiological and ecological features of pollen grains and seeds. Bio-molecular approaches to characterization of grape and olive varieties were recently developed from previous studies on reproductive biology of these species.
