APPLICATION INFORMATION

All applicants for admission must provide:

• a completed application form;
• a substitute declaration which testifies the achievement of the degree certificate, the kind of degree, date and marks;
• a full curriculum vitae (including job experiences, academic or non academic qualifications, publications);
• a photocopy of his/her passport or identity card;
• a circumstantial letter which illustrates the reasons why the applicant would like to participate in the School;
• evidence of their command of the English language;
• letters of reference.

Deadline for applications is July 12, 2006 (see Deadlines). Early application is advised.

ADMISSIONS

The School Board will examine activities and profile of each applicant and draw up a list of the first 40 applicants; in case of withdrawals the applicants who follow in the list will be admitted.
The list will be published on the School website within July 20, 2006.

REGISTRATION FEE AND PAYMENT

Enrolments must be done within August 14, 2006 (See Deadlines). From that day, still vacant places will be assigned according to a waiting list.
The registration fee is established in € 300,00, to be paid with a single payment together with the enrolment. Since the School belongs to the institutional activity of the University and not to the commercial one, the registration fee is outside the field of VAT application. Therefore it is not possible to issue any invoice.

Applicants are required to send (by mail or fax) a photocopy of the receipt of payment of the REGISTRATION FEE of € 300,00. The fee has to be paid into the bank current account of the Monte dei Paschi di Siena, registered in the name of Università degli Studi di Siena (code BBAN P0103014209000005040093 - IBAN IT22P0103014209000005040093), writing as description "International Summer School in Law and Religion Registration Fee" (see Costs).

REFUND POLICY

The registration fee will not usually be refunded if an applicant withdraws.
No refunds or partial refunds will be made after the course has commenced unless there are exceptional circumstances.

ACCOMMODATION INFORMATION

To attend the Summer School in Law and Religion, residence at College S. Chiara, where lessons will take place, is compulsory.

The organization provides two kinds of accommodation arrangements with two different fees. Single room fee: € 600 (including coffee breaks, lunches, dinners and gala dinner)

Double room fee: € 520 (including coffee breaks, lunches, dinners and gala dinner)

Applicants are kindly required to fill in the application form with their accommodation preferences.

The residence fee will be paid upon arrival in Siena; however, it is possible to pay it in advance via bank transfer paid into the bank current account of the Monte dei Paschi di Siena, registered in the name of Università degli Studi di Siena (code BBAN P0103014209000005040093 - IBAN IT22P0103014209000005040093), writing as description "International Summer School in Law and Religion Residence Fee" (see Costs & Deadlines).
