The Law & Religion Programme at the University
of Siena started in 2000 as an initiative of the Department of Public
Law of the Faculty of Law.
In 2001 the first series of lectures and seminars has been presented
and the first issue of Daimon (Yearbook of Comparative Religious Laws)
has been published.
In 2003 the first international meeting on Justice and Religion took
place.
From 2000 to 2004 several international experts have been visiting and
lecturing in Siena as a part of the Visiting Programme.
In 2005 the first International Summer School in Law & Religion
will be held.
