The European Commission has issued a call for proposals to support cultural actions, with the aim of promoting a European cultural area based on a common cultural heritage. Cooperation measures (part 1.2.1) involving at least three cultural operators from at least 3 countries participating in the programme or multi-annual cooperation projects (part 1.1) involving at least 6 countries participating in the programme can also be submitted.

The deadline for proposals is 31 October 2007. The Culture programme aims to promote the transnational mobility of people working in the cultural sector, the transnational circulation of cultural and artistic works and products, and intercultural dialogue.
