Francesco Spano was born in Pisa in 1977. After his graduation in Law (2001) at the University of Siena, he has won a scholarship and has participated in “Gratianus programme interuniversitaire de formation doctorale en droit canonique – droit civile ecclesiastique européen” at the Institut Catholique de Paris and Faculté « J. Monnet », Paris XI (November, 1st 2002 – April, 1st 2003). He has also followed a course in “Liturgical and sacramental pastoral” (January 2003) and a course of “Liturgy and pastoral of the matrimony: from the beginning to the Ecumenical Council Vatican II” (January 2003) at the Institut Supérieur de Liturgie, Faculté de Théologie et des Sciences Religieuses of the Institut Catholique de Paris. At present he is completing his PhD programme in “Persona e tutele giuridiche” at the Scuola Superiore di Studi Universitari e di Perfezionamento Sant’Anna in Pisa. He is expert of Ecclesiastic law, Canon Law and Comparate religious laws at the University of Siena and at the University of Pisa where he takes part in research, study and teaching. He participated in several national and international seminars and conferences. He has taken part in a lot of conferences on law, religion, politic and bioethics. In 2004 he has been awarded a scholarship to participate in the International Congress on Luigi Sturzo: “Comunità, Democrazia, Sussidiarietà nell’Unione Europea”. |
