The
Research Centre for European
and Comparative Public Law (DIPEC) was established in 2005 on
the joint
initiative of the Department of Economic Law and the
Department of Public
Law. Promoters
of the Centre are:
Laura Ammannati, Tania Groppi, Valeria Piergigli, Andrea Pisaneschi,
Marco
Ventura, Giandomenico Comporti, Bernardo Giorgio Mattarella,
Massimiliano
Montini, Eleonora Ceccherini.
The
Centre is the heir of the
former Research Centre on
Comparative Constitutional Law founded
in 1997 by Giancarlo Rolla, and was created with the purpose to
establish a unitary research and study centre, addressing themes of
European
and Comparative Public Law.
Among
the aims of the Centre are
the promotion and development of research activities and the carrying
on of the
tasks provided by the conventions signed with foreign Universities and
Educational Centers, such as the organization of meetings and seminars;
the
setting up of educational courses on Constitutional, Administrative,
European
and Comparative Law subjects; the close examination and
investigation of
the following areas of study:
