HOW TO ENTER IN THE DATABASE OF ITALIAN SPECIALISTS IN MEDICAL GENETICS 
 

Why a database ?

The database of the Italian Specialists in Medical Genetics was created as an initiative of the Clinical Genetics committee of the European Society of Human Genetics (ESHG). The database is aimed to spread the information on Italian Specialists in order to achieve the final goal of the recognition of the Medical Genetics specialty at the European level. This database represents also a practical tool useful to improve communication between specialists in Italy. The database is still under construction. Once the database will be completed it will be transferred to the ESHG and SIGU web sites.

 
Collected Information

The database collects the following information: name, type of Laurea degree (MD or Master of Science), name of Specialty (the name of specialty is now Medical Genetics but in the past other names may be found), University and year of Specialty degree, other additional Specialties (with University and year of degree), Place of work (Institution and Unit), Position (please specify the exact position and whether or not it is a permanent position)
 

How to enter in the database

If you want to be added to the database please fill the informed consent below and send it together with the data descried above to the address renieri@unisi.it
